Best Books for Boys

Wouldn’t it be nice if every week was a three day week? I survived my first day back at work and my severe mild case of depression  back-to-school-blues was gone after walking through the school doors. I think it was just the anticipation of having to get dressed and defrost my car for the first time in 11 days that got me feeling the blues on Tuesday night. True story- I did not drive my car one time during vacation (aren’t I spoiled?). Seriously! I stayed home and played on my new Silhouette Cameo and read blogs. Well, I also had the stomach bug…and I also have a great chauffeur who willingly drives me around in exchange for a burrito at Chipotle or a burger at Five Guys.

I digress. This was supposed to be a post about books for boys!

I’m linking up tonight with Courtney over at Swimming Into Second and her blog posts about the Best Books for Boys! This is a topic very near and dear to me because as you know, I have 12 boys in a class of 14! Since I recently posted about my most recent favorite book for boys, I am simply going to cheat on this one and link to that post about The Invention of Hugo Cabret. Here is a link to my review of the book and some teaching tips for teaching it yourself! Stop by Courtney’s to read about some other favorites. I love her for starting this linky because I’ve learned about some new books to add to my library!
