Does anyone know where these wonderful rubrics came from? I was given them last year from a teacher I worked with and she found them somewhere online. I modified them a little bit to make each level different (on the original one that I received, level 2 and 3 were pretty much the same). Either way, they are perfect for K-2. I especially love to resort to them when students start fading in the effort category. The idea of each cupcake is very logical for them and they can relate to why we want to strive for level 4 (who doesn’t love a cupcake with frosting, sprinkles and a candle!?)
